A short break before regrouping to bounce back

The UD Almería players rest this Tuesday after Monday's recovery session and on Wednesday, they will set their minds on Atletico de Madrid

UD Almería are going to take a slight breather this Tuesday to return to work on Wednesday with the idea of regrouping and bouncing back following the bitter defeat suffered to Real Sociedad last Sunday. The next opponents to take on are once again another of the best Spanish football clubs, Club Atlético de Madrid. The Colchoneros are visiting the Power Horse Stadium on Sunday for a 4:15pm kick-off.

The Indalicos rolled up their sleeves on home turf against adversaries with the likes of Real Madrid CF (1-2) or Sevilla FC (2-1). However, Real Sociedad de Fútbol has been the team that has put in the best display at the Power Horse Stadium so far this season. Now, UD Almería are now in the mood to fight more than ever with an eye to shock everyone should they beat Atlético de Madrid this Sunday and achieve their first victory of 2023.

Sunday's starters performed a recovery session this Monday while the rest of the squad trained a bit harder. Kaiky, with muscular discomfort, could get back into the fold soon and Léo Baptistão's availability remains a doubt as he got the flu.
