Rubi announces 20-man UD Almería squad list

UD Almería head coach Rubi has not been able to complete the list of 23 players who are allowed to register in a league match and there are 20 players who have travelled to Elda, where the Rojiblancos face at 6:30pm this Sunday against CD Eldense. Internationals César Montes and Bruno Langa, who are on international duty with the national teams of Mexico and Mozambique, respectively, have been ruled out for the game as well as Edgar and Gui Guedes.
While the Catalan has muscle discomfort, the Portuguese will miss out due to a knock he took to his ribs. All of this happened in the last two days of training, which represents a serious handicap for Rubi.
The gaffer has once again counted on UD Almería 'B' players Valen and Rachad, who are training regularly with the first team. Although he had the opportunity to complete the team roster with more 'B' team players, Rubi has chosen not to do so. The UDA second team faces a tough match this Sunday in Segunda RFEF. It must be taken into account that Rubi has 18 players available, 2 of them goalkeepers. This Saturday, the Rojiblancos participated in a final training session, which took place behind closed doors at the UD Almería Stadium, and in the afternoon (5 pm) they travelled by road to Alicante.
