UD Almería full of enthusiasm in training with Girona FC up next

The Rojiblancos are playing the opening game of Matchday 22 next Friday. Robertone and Baptistão are eligible again.

UD Almería are back on the graft after having a break last Monday since next Friday's game against Girona FC is fast approaching. The squad members are well aware of the importance of this appointment due to two factors: the first is to try to win away from home for the first time this season, which is still the team's unfinished business, and the second is to beat direct rivals in the race to avoid the drop and who are currently three points ahead in the table.

The Rojiblancos have three training sessions planned this week to be able to prepare well and correct the mistakes made during the last match against Real Betis. Rubi's men focused on playing games in reduced-size pitches this Tuesday morning in order to practise possession in small spaces and shots on goal; The head coach has also designed a session with the main focus on defensive actions after corner-kicks. Rodrigo Ely, Pozo and Melero have been working out in the gym.

The Indalicos will continue preparing themselves on Wednesday and Thursday. Both sessions are to be delivered behind closed doors in order to thoroughly practise all the tactics that could help them obtain a positive result on their trip to the Montilivi Stadium.
