Rubi: 'It's going to be a great game for the fans'

Rubi predicts 'a good Matchday to watch football' and wants 'UD Almería to rule and show personality on the pitch' against Elche CF because 'if we win, we'll join those at the top of the table'

Elche CF and UD Almería are facing off soon and it is expected to be a fierce battle considering the head-to-head stats, confidence and latest results of both sides. UD Almería head coach has looked ahead to the next game: 'I think it's going to be a great game for the fans. We're two teams that greatly respect our way of playing and with a clear attacking vocation, as well as sporting nobility. It'll be a great Matchday to watch football,' he said in the press room.

'Due to the form of our next rivals, it's a very difficult challenge that we have to face. UD Almería are improving week after week and if there's a team today that can make your game extremely difficult, it's Elche CF. A tough match in which we're capable of winning there; it's an important challenge and it'll be a very nice tactical battle' Rubi highlighted.

There have been several times in which the Catalan gaffer has praised the rivals' qualities: 'Anyone who is studying to be a football coach, I recommend that they watch Elche's 13 Matchdays because there are a very large amount of resources, with many tactical variables. I praise their proposal. They're the team that creates beautiful and daring plays the most from the back.' That is why Rubi has expressed: 'I want my team to command and have personality, knowing that Elche CF will also do so. None of us speculate when looking for an opposing goal.'

UD Almería are clearly improving week after week- results, game and table positions- and therefore they'll face Matchday 14 with extra motivation: 'It's clear that if we win we'll be placed temporarily at the top of the table,' commented Rubi, who is tremendously proud of the artillery of his team: 'We have a very great attacking potential and our rivals know it.'
