UD Almería to know LaLiga Hypermotion calendar on 26 June
The Spanish second-tier season kicks off on the second weekend of August (18th) and will end on 1st June 1. Play-offs to be held 7-22 June. There will be a total of two midweek fixtures
The RFEF has determined that it will be on Wednesday, 26th June when the draw for the LaLiga Hypermotion calendar takes place. The season will kick off on the weekend of 18th August and the regular season ends on 1st June. The play-offs for promotion to Primera will be held 7-22 June. There will not be two identical Matchdays in order to 'comply with a greater number of security conditions, European competitions, clubs, renovating works, festivities and other events' as reported by LaLiga.
A total of 100,000 possible fixture lists will be compiled and only one of them will be chosen randomly. In second tier football, two fixtures will be played on midweek days and at Christmas, the competition will pause on 22 December, resuming on the weekend of 12 January 2025.
