UD Almería Genuine shine in Getafe to end season sitting 5th
Two triumphs and one defeat in the fourth and final stage of the 2023/24 season of this inclusive football competition
The UDA Almería Foundation team finished the 2023/24 campaign this past weekend in Getafe within the final stage of LaLiga Genuine that took place in the Madrid city. The exited Rojiblancos once again enjoyed a fantastic experience with two triumphs and one loss that placed them in 5th position in the Inclusion Group standings.
That is the end of 8 months of competition where, without a doubt, tolerance, respect and camaraderie have characterised the more than 1,000 players who have participated. The Rojiblancos played three games in Getafe. The first of them against Levante UD EDI concluded in a the 3-1 victory for UD Almería Genuine. Afterwards, the Indálicos lost 2-1 to the Fundació Barça and later defeated CA Osasuna 3-1.
UD Almería Genuine finished in 5th position. In the end, RCD Espanyol have been crowned champions in the Inclusion Group and Real Oviedo in the Superación Group. In the Fair Play Trophy section, Córdoba CF and Burgos CF were the most outstanding in Inclusion and Improvement, respectively.
The curtain therefore closes on the 6th occasion of LaLiga Genuine after the four stages held and also greatly enjoyed. Integrity and inclusion have once again been the insignia of this innovative project where, the UDA Genuine players, have been the best ambassadors of the UDA brand.
