UD Almería flew back home after Spanish Cup tie to train at the Power Horse Stadium

The squad members will have a day off this Thursday before getting back to work on Friday and Saturday in order to focus on Atlético de Madrid's visit

UD Almería flew back home from Barbastro, where they were eliminated from the Copa del Rey tournament, once the match was played in the Huesca-based town. The UD Almeria travelling squad headed by road to Huesca to get on a charter flight. As soon as they landed in Almería, the team went to the Power Horse Stadium to carry out a post-match training session.

It was an active recovery session for those players who were given the most minutes in the Cup tie, and more intense for the rest who were thinking about Atlético de Madrid's trip.

This Thursday, the squad will have a break before getting back to work on Friday and Saturday to focus on the match that will be played at the Cívitas Metropolitano this Sunday. In relation to the Spanish Cup tie, Mr Garitano has César Montes, who did not travel to Barbastro due to suspension, available for selection, while Melero and Embarba, injured against Betis, remain a doubt.
