UD Almeria Club statement

UD Almería have suspended training after one person have tested positive for COVID-19 in the PCR tests carried out last Monday, 3rd August. That person, who tested negative in the three tests carried out during the past week, is staying home in quarantine and is in good health for the time being. 

UD Almería are following the health protocol established by LaLiga and the CSD, and also chose to suspend training awaiting the results of the new tests that the team members will undergo in the coming days.

At the same time, the entity proceeded to disinfect all the areas of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium.

The club informed the health authorities, Municipal Sports Board, CSD (National Sports Council) and RFEF (Spanish Football Federation), as well as LaLiga, with whom they keep in touch controlling the situation. 

The person who tested positive the previous week, remains in quarantine at home in good health.
