UD Almería begin to prepare for next Matchday

The Rojiblancos returned to training this Tuesday morning to focus on the next match against Athletic Club de Bilbao on Monday, 12th February (KO 9pm Spanish Time)

UD Almería have begun preparations for a week full of challenges and opportunities. The team resumed training this Tuesday morning, focusing with determination on the match against Athletic Club de Bilbao, scheduled for next Monday, 12th February.

A team session was held to show the video analysis of the game as a group, discussing offensive and defensive actions and also analysing mistakes and positives from the last games. Then, the players worked out at the gym and later, a technical session was conducted that enabled players to practise a range of skills across multiple exercises, rehearsing ball skills in terms of tidy, quick and intelligent passing, plus finishing in and around the box. A strength circuit was completed before finishing this Tuesday's training.

UD Almería 'B' youngsters Paco Sanz, Marsu and Marcos Peña have taken part in the session with the first teamers. Radovanović has been training on the sidelines with the UD Almería physiotherapists and striker Luis Suárez has already begun his recovery with the Club's medical team after undergoing surgery last week.

The team will continue training throughout this week until Monday, when they will face Athletic Club de Bilbao at 9pm local time at the Power Horse Stadium.
