UD Almería 'B' to compete with Andalusian, Murcia and Badajoz teams in Group IV

The RFEF has created the different groups of the Spanish fourth tier Segunda RFEF in which the UDA 'B' team will debut this upcoming 2024/25 season. The competition starts on Sunday, 1st September

UD Almería 'B' will compete the 2024/25 season within Group roup IV of the Segunda RFEF tier. The Spanish Football Federation has confirmed the newly-promoted Rojiblancos' rivals: 10 Andalusian sides in the division, 4 from the Region of Murcia, 2 from the Extramadura-based city of Badajoz) and 1 from Alicante. In total 18 clubs belong to the strongest group in the Segunda RFEF. 

After achieving a historic and epic promotion, the UDA Academy team must increase efforts in the pre-season in order to achieve important objectives. 

The Andalusian teams are the following: Linares Deportivo, Atlético Antoniano, Club Recreativo Granada (Granada CF 'B' team), Juventud Torremolinos CF, CD Estepona, Xerez CD; Xerez Deportivo, Cádiz Mirandilla (Cádiz CF 'B' team), San Fernando CD and Real Balompédica Linense. The Region of Murcia is the second Spanish region that contributes the most clubs with four; Águilas FC, whose owner is former UD Almería president Alfonso García as well as UCAM Murcia, FC La Union Atlético and CD Minera. 

On the other hand, to complete this Group IV, CF Villanovense and CD Don Benito will represent Extremadura, while Orihuela CF will also represent the province of Alicante.
