UD Almería 'B' on holiday after scintillating promotion

The UD Almería 'B' squad are now enjoying their well-deserved holiday after achieving promotion to Segunda RFEF last Sunday after thrashing CD Toledo 1-4. The successful Rojiblancos closed out a scintillating season that has been historic. Devoted fans and team stuck together throughout the season and managed to win games until reaching the goal set at the beginning of the campaign: promotion.
With a base of UD Almería U19s 'A' youngsters, Spanish Cup U19 runners-up and signings that provided experience, the squad became a true family and a tough team to defeat. Head coach Alberto Lasarte played a fundamental role toward this success. His leadership, game awareness and ability to motivate his players were decisive. The Jaén native knew how to coach the group masterfully, always keeping high morale and focusing the team on the common goal.
This Monday, the promotion-winners greatly enjoyed a farewell meal at the Bribón de la Habana, located in Aguadulce town. Players, coaching staff and management were present at the event in which the Club celebrated with everyone the more than well-deserved promotion to fourth-tier Segunda RFEF. During the celebration, the huge effort and dedication of all those involved was highlighted. The Club leaders expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the brilliant remarkable feat.
