Training with heads held high despite last night's injustice
UD Almería are back to training thinking about Friday's home fixture against Deportivo Alavés (KO 9pm Spanish Time). César Montes begins to do ball work on the pitch but remains a doubt
UD Almería are back to training with their heads held high despite this past Sunday's injustice in the game against Real Madrid CF at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium due to the controversial decisions by the referee that negatively affected the Rojiblancos.
The squad will not have a break this week since at 9pm local time this Friday there is a league meeting against Deportivo Alavés at the Power Horse Stadium.
The highlight of this Monday's training session held on the Anexo pitch was the presence of César Montes, who has started doing ball work on the grass. The availability of the Mexican defender remains a doubt though. Koné continues to exercise on the sidelines, although there is a question mark over his fitness. Those players who clocked up the most minutes in Madrid worked on recovering and the rest of the squad members trained with greater intensity on the Anexo pitch with the participation of up to 9 UD Almería 'B' players: Marcos Peña and Paco Sanz, who were named in the team roster in the Bernabéu; Abel, Peñalver, Kevin, Luis Lara, Josema, Marsu and Loren.
This Tuesday and Thursday afternoon the Indálicos will be put through their paces at the Power Horse Stadium, while Wednesday's football practice will be conducted in the morning at the training base.
