Arnau Puigmal: 'We must take advantage of our potential and demonstrate it'

UD Almería central midfielder Arnau Puigmal stated on UDA Radio ahead of Sunday's match in Zaragoza: 'We're coming off tough games in which we haven't been able to get the victories we would've liked, although there's an improvement. Obviously, we're well aware that we must correct the mistakes, but there are also positive things and we have to hold on to them.'

 

The former Spain U19 footballer highlighted the attacking potential of the Indálicos first team: 'We know that in attack, we're always going to create chances because we have the right players and team for it, but we have to adjust things in defence and, as soon as they're done, we're going to push forward. We know the capacity we have, but reality is what it is; we aren't winning. We must take advantage of our potential and demonstrate it.'

 

The Barcelona native expressed the difficulty of the Matchday 10 clash against Real Zaragoza: 'It' a very difficult place to win, we face the game as one more, with the attitude of going all out for victory. We will try to correct the mistakes that have taken their toll on us in recent games and continue being creative in attack, which we are good at.'

 

One of the 23-year-old Rojiblanco's strengths is his versatility as Puigmal can play in many positions. Regarding this, he pointed out: 'I started playing as a winger this year. My position is central midfielder, operating with a holding pivot, or right-back. Now it's my turn as a winger, the team comes first and if I have to help in that position I'll do it.'
