Samú Costa signs a 5-year contract with UD Almería until 2026 as the Rojiblancos Club has now activated the option to buy agreed with SC Braga during the 2020/21 campaign. In this way, the Portuguese talented midfielder becomes a member of the Andalusian Club.
Despite debuting in a demanding league such as LaLiga SmartBank, the 20-year-old player has been at his electric best in the championship becoming a key contender in the UD Almería XI’s. Samú Costa has played a total of 37 fixtures, 33 of them as a starter, in which he scored 2 goals and produced 1 lovely assist. In addition, his absolute consistency in the midfield gave the Rojiblancos game control to maintain fluidity.
UD Almería has decided to activate an option to buy the player following his outstanding performances throughout the season so the Club will keep the footballer until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
