Gonzalo Melero begins to do ball work on the pitch

Demanding training sessions. This Sunday, friendly against UD Las Palmas that will be broadcast on the Club´s new Twitch channel at 6pm (Spanish Time)

UD Almería central midfielder Gonzalo Melero has begun to do ball work on the pitch in the second day of the team's pre-season training camp in Benahavís, where the Rojiblancos are training hard.
The Madrid-born midfielder underwent an arthroscopy during the holidays in his right knee due to a meniscus problem that he picked up at the end of last season.

Since the pre-season campaign kicked off, Melero has been working out in the gym and with the physiotherapists, but he has just stepped onto the pitch to do ball work on the sidelines, and thus starting a new phase in his recovery process, as explained by Club's medical services coordinator Diego Portugal, who also highlighted that the footballer's recovery is being very positive.

On the other hand, the UD Almería players are working up a sweat in the demanding sessions delivered at the facilities of La Quinta Football Center, where Vicente Moreno and his backroom team alternate physical fitness with tactical drills, which is being the main focus in this stage.

In addition, there will be a new friendly match this Sunday, the second of the off-season preparations, which will see UD Almería taking one of their next season's rivals, UD Las Palmas. The practice game will be played at La Quinta Football Center at 6pm (Spanish Time), which will be aired live on the new Clubs Twitch channel via the following the link: https://www.twitch.tv/udalmeria
