In the 2023/24 campaign, Marcos Peña was key in the 'B' team squad that achieved promotion to the Segunda RFEF, but he also trained along with the senior team and debuted in the Primera division under the guidance of former head coach Pepe Mel, getting regular starts in the team during the last days of the championship.

The previous season 2022/23, he also took a leading role in the UD Almería Under-19s 'A' squad that was crowned runners-up in the Spanish Cup U19. The central midfielder will play in Group II of the Primera RFEF, for a team that has former Real Madrid CF player Callejón in its ranks. In addition, among the owners are ex-Madridistas like Granero and Casimiro.

On Matchday 1, Marbella FC beat Real Madrid Castilla 1-0 with a match-winning goal from Callejón.
