Marc Pubill makes final Spain football men's national team roster for Olympic Games

Spanish national coach Santi Denia has announced the squad list of those called-up players for Paris 2024. Spain will play against Uzbekistan on 24th July; Dominican Republic, on 27th July and Egypt on 30th July

UD Almería player Marc Pubill has finally been named in the final 18-man squad list who will represent the Spain football men's national team in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as confirmed by national coach Santi Denia. The 21-year-old right-back is preparing himself along with his team-mates at the Ciudad de Fútbol de Las Rozas (Madrid) for the upcoming Olympics. In the coming days, the Spaniards will head to France to compete in the international event.

Spain belongs to Group C together with Uzbekistan (match: 24th July), Dominican Republic (2nd August) and Egypt (30th July). The Spanish team is highly likely to make it to the quarter-finals and semi-finals that will be taking place in August, what means that Pubill is going to miss the UD Almería pre-season.

Spain squad list:

Goalkeepers: Arnau Tenas and Joan García.

Defenders: Marc Pubill, Pau Cubarsí, Eric García, Jon Pacheco, Juan Miranda and Miguel Gutierrez.

Midfielders: Beñat Turrientes, Adrián Bernabé, Pablo Barrios, Aimar Oroz and Baena.
