Leo Baptistao is in good trim and Paco Sanz joins senior-team training

The UD Almería players have resumed training after Wednesday's day off, in which the team took a slight break after playing against CD Castellón last Monday and having a new home fixture next Sunday against SD Eibar.
The return to work has had two protagonists. On the one hand, Leo Baptistao, who is in good trim and has already trained with the group although in the final part of the session he went to the medical room, although more as an injury relapse prevention. The Brazilian forward was sidelined on the previous Matchday due to some muscle discomfort from which he has recovered and therefore, if there are no unforeseen setbacks, he will be available for Rubi.
On the other hand, UD Almería 'B' defender Paco Sanz, defender is now involved in first-team training, as well as Bruno Iribarne, Gui Guedes, Valen and Rachad. The Madrid-born centre-back will train with the senior team over the week and then, depending on needs, he will be named in Rubi's or Alberto Lasarte's squad list.
The squad has been left with three centre-backs after the transfer of César Montes to Russian football since the head coach's option is to rely more on Edgar for the midfield.
On the other hand, UD Almería are fully focused on their preparation for Sunday's match and on achieving the first victory of the season at home against a rivals who are at the top of the standings and who, once again, will fight for promotion.
The gaffer has two more sessions ahead to get his team ready; the one on Friday and the one on Saturday, both will be conducted in the Stadium and behind closed doors.
