LaLiga postpones UD Almería vs Córdoba CF due to Spain's Met Office warning
Now both Andalusian clubs will have to agree to set a new date for the match, with a deadline set at 2pm Tuesday, 5 November
LaLiga has decided to postpone the match between UD Almería and Córdoba CF set for 4:15pm this Sunday, after speaking with the two clubs. Since early in the morning LaLiga was considering adopting this measure once the AEMET (Spain's Met office) issued a new red weather alert with torrential rain forecast for the province of Almería. Finally, the decision was made around midday as a precaution 'and thus following the recommendations of the authorities to avoid journeys and given the situation suffered in Spain by the cold drop that has caused numerous deaths and victims in recent days,' as LaLiga has argued in its official statement.
A new date for the game (Matchday 13) must be arranged by both Andalusian clubs before 2pm Tuesday, 5 November.
