Resounding triumphs for UDA U16 'A' and UDA U14 'A'
The Under-19s youth players achieved two draws in injury time of their respective matches. Group 'A' in Huelva and Group 'B' at home against current pacesetters
The UD Almería Academy youth sides achieved 6 victories, 4 draws and one defeat last weekend, highlighting the resounding triumphs recorded by UDA U16s 'A' and UDA U14 'A' in their competitive leagues. The former defeated CD Altair and the latter beat Dos Hermanas, in both cases playing at home and with the same 1-0 result, which allows the UD Almería products to be at the top of the standings.
On the other hand, UD Almería U16 'B' and U14 'B' settled for draws away from home. The under-16s against Español Albolote (0-0) and the under-14s against Ciudad de Granada (1-1).
The UDA U19s youth teams also tied in the national rankings. UD Almería U19 'A' visited bottom team Recreativo de Huelva, with whom they shared the spoils by scoring in injury time (1-1). The absences had an influence, but the youth team reduced margin for error in their fight to qualify for the Spanish Cup U19. UD Almería U19 'B' tied in the 90+5' against current pacesetters Málaga CF B, who lost first place to the UD Almería team on the Francisco Pomedio ground in Huércal de Almería.
The two under-12s, the under-10s 'A' and the under-8s 'B' clinched comprehensive victories, while the U10s 'B' were narrowly defeated by rivals Poli Almería.
