'Stopover' in Almería to catch another flight to Madrid

The UD Almería travelling squad returned to the south coast after the match in Huesca and this Tuesday, they travel again to start their Spanish Cup journey on Wednesday... On Sunday, a new Andalusian battle against Córdoba CF awaits

UD Almería returned from Huesca as soon as the match at El Alcoraz stadium was over, although the return from Huesca lands seems more like just a 'stopover' to continue the trip to Madrid because on Wednesday, the Spanish Cup first round will see them playing against San Sebastián de los Reyes.

The Rojiblancos will travel on Tuesday, ahead of schedule, since on the same day of the Cup tie they cannot land at Barajas airport in the morning, so everything was going to be very hasty. Hence, the trip has been brought forward.

The squad continues training with a frenetic pace of competition for the second consecutive week. The players will have two training sessions before playing against Sanse; this Monday and Tuesday, both behind closed doors.

The UD Almería travelling squad will return from Madrid on Thursday morning and upon arrival, the players will head to the Anexo ground to exercise. There is no break because Córdoba CF visit the UD Almería Stadium on Sunday. On Friday and Saturday there will be two new practices to prepare for the Andalusian battle. The Indálicos will have played five games in a fortnight.
