UD Almería ready to take on SD Eibar this weekend

UD Almería are training behind closed doors in the Stadium to prepare for Sunday's match with the aim of achieving the first victory of the season at home. Rubi has all his players available for the league appointment

The first team members have been put through their paces in the UD Almería Stadium to complete their preparations for Sunday's match against SD Eibar (KO 9pm Spanish Time/ Matchday 6).

For the Rojiblancos it will be the third game at home and they will go all out for the first victory. They shared the spoils with Sporting de Gijón and were thrashed last Monday by CD Castellón. Rubi's players are ready to take on the next tough rivals. They are current joint leaders with Racing de Santander and Levante UD with an average a good number of goals scored (7) and are among the team who concede the fewest goals in the competition so far (4). Their confidence at the back in recent games has led the Basque Country side to rise to the top of the standings.

Rubi has all his players available, including Leo Baptistao who was sidelined against CD Castellón due to muscle discomfort from which he has now recovered.

The squad trained this Friday, behind closed doors at the Stadium and will also train this Sunday in the evening to conclude preparations ahead of the second consecutive home game.
