Sublime brace scorer Luis Suárez expresses support for injured team-mate Šviderský

The Colombian centre-forward shows the Slovakian’s UD Almeria jersey as he suffers a serious ACL injury that he picked up last Sunday

Sublime brace scorer Luis Suárez in Getafe made a nice gesture to show his support for his injured team-mate Martin Šviderský, who has suffered a serious knee injury. When the Colombian pulled a left-footed effort just past the far post to open the scoring in the 7th minute of the game, he grabbed the Slovakian's UD Almeria jersey from the dugout and showed it around the pitch as he dedicated his goal to the injured player.

Martin Šviderský, who has been joining the first team training sessions lately although he plays for UD Almeria ‘B’, picked up a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last Sunday on the El Palo FC field. He will be operated on soon in Madrid.
