UD Almería 'B' to make last effort in final game hoping to enter play-offs

UD Almería 'B' will keep their promotion hopes alive as long as they beat El Palo FC at 12 noon this Sunday and Huétor Vega and Atlético Malagueño lose their games

UD Almería 'B' are playing their final game of the regular season with the burning hope of being able to qualify for the play-offs for promotion to the Segunda RFEF. The new San Ignacio stadium has only seen El Palo FC lose once to Huétor Vega on 20 November. Since then, the next hosts have always bagged points on home soil.

Atlético Malagueño sit 5th, the last spot that gifts a passage to the play-offs. They have collected 42 points so far, the same as sixth-placed Huétor Vega, while the youthful Rojiblancos are located in the 7th position one point behind them (41). UD Almería 'B' will make it to the play-offs as long as they beat El Palo FC, who have nothing at stake as they have already secure a third place in the Group IX, as well as neither Atlético Malagueño nor Huétor Vega win their respective matches this weekend.

The Málagueños visit UD Maracena, located in the bottom half of the table, while Huétor Vega, who are the ones who have the best chances, will be welcoming CD Torreperogil, visitors who have nothing at stake.
