UD Almería strengthen midfield with third summer recruit Dion Lopy
The latest addition is a powerful midfielder with ball-winning skills. He comes from French club Stade Reims and will rock the Rojiblanco jersey until June 2029
UD Almería are delighted to announce the third summer signing for the coming 2023/24 season after the recruits of Luis Suárez and Édgar González. The new face in the squad is the Senegalese international, only 21 years old, Dion Lopy, who signs a six-year deal with the Indálicos until June 2029.
Six seasons for a footballer who, despite his young age, has been a sough-after player in the transfer window. In just two campaigns at the Stade Reims, in the French Ligue 1, he has claimed to be a holding midfielder of great physical power, although he is a very complete footballer. He is going to rock the Rojiblanco jersey in the midfield, but he is also very tactically skilled.
