UD Almería back to business without Marc Pubill and Luis Suárez

The Tarrasa-born right-back suffers a medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee and will be ruled out for the game against Levante UD, while the Colombian striker had permission from the Club for personal reasons

The UD Almería players are back to business after Tuesday's rest day without Marc Pubill and Luis Suárez. The 21-year-old has remained in the medical room with the physiotherapists.

The right-back limped off the pitch in last Sunday's game against SD Eibar and after the tests he underwent it was detected that he suffered a medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee. The footballer will not be able to play against his former team Levante UD and his recovery period will depend on how he progresses.

As for Luis Suárez, the Colombian had permission from the Club to be absent for personal reasons since he is about to become a father.

The squad has already started to train focused on next Sunday's fixture at the Ciudad de Valencia Stadium, where they will visit rivals placed in the VIP zone of the table, who aim for promotion and are undefeated on home turf.

There are three more sessions, Thursday at the training base, and Friday and Saturday, both behind closed doors, at the UD Almería Stadium; the latter before flying charter to the Comunidad Valenciana capital.
