UD Almería launch NFC season-tickets to speed up access to the Stadium

The device is wireless and can be saved on mobile phones, replacing the QR code. Season-ticket holders will be able to use it in the next home game against Albacete Balompié, which will be played at 7pm on Thursday, 24th October

UD Almería, with the support of LaLiga, implements NFC (Near Field Communication) technology in its season tickets to access the Stadium more quickly starting with the next home game against Albacete Balompié, which will be held on Thursday, 24th October (Matchday 11).

The Club has the season cards in physical and digital format using the QR code. From now on it can also be used wirelessly with the new system, allowing game tickets to be saved in the digital wallet of the device (phones or smart watches). The game attendees will access the sports venue by bringing the device closer to the wireless reading icon located at the top of the turnstile, speeding up entry.

With this initiative, UD Almería take another step towards modernising its services and structure, which has no other purpose than to improve and make things easier for the fans. The NFC subscriptions will be available for both iPhone and Android and it will be necessary to visit abonados.udalmeriasad.com to activate them and register, previously deactivating the QR option, since it is not compatible with the new application.

On the other hand, physical season cards as well as digital ones with a QR code will also continue to be active.
