Fixtures coming thick and fast for UD Almería

With the match played at La Romareda stadium against Real Zaragoza, the Rojiblancos are having 5 games in a fortnight. On Thursday, they host Albacete Balompié and on Sunday, trip to Huesca. The team rest this Monday after returning from Zaragoza

Fixtures coming thick and fast for UD Almería since, including the match played at La Romareda stadium against Real Zaragoza, the Rojiblancos face a packed schedule of 5 games in just a fortnight as there is a mid-week match and the Spanish Cup first-round tie.

The UD Almeria travelling squad took a charter flight from Zaragoza as soon as the encounter ended. This Monday, the team will take a slight break before facing what lies ahead. On Thursday, UD Almería host Albacete Balompié for a 7pm kick-off and next Sunday, they have a trip to Huesca, another of the opponents who are atop the table.

After returning from Huesca there will be no break in the new week because on Wednesday, 30th October, the Indálicos have to start their Spanish Cup journey with another outing against San Sebastián de los Reyes (KO 9pm Spanish Time), in Madrid, the first Copa del Rey tie to be played in a single-legged match. On Thursday, 31st October, the Rojiblancos will return to Almería city before hosting Córdoba CF on Sunday, 3rd November (KO 4:15pm Spanish Time).

Apart from the matches that will have to be played, UD Almería gaffer Rubi will have to rely, as he has been doing until now, on the UD Almería 'B' players. The first team is firmed by 19 players at the moment considering that co-captain Lucas Robertone, who underwent surgery for a shoulder dislocation, will not return to action until 2025.
