UD Almería condemn the racist insults that player Lopy suffered during the match that the Rojiblancos played against CD Eldense at the Nuevo Pepico Amat Stadium, in Elda, and at the same time appreciate the work of the Alicante-based club as they quickly found out who the person who offended the midfielder and then expelled him from the facility.
It all happened in the 24th minute of the first half when the UD Almería player was being treated on the sideline by the medical services. In one of the images from the TV broadcast, the incident of a young woman shouting racist insults at the footballer was noted.
The security department of CD Eldense and LaLiga implemented the protocol that exists to act in situations of this type and after addressing the person and ensuring with the TV images that it was indeed the one who had insulted Lopy, she was expelled from the stadium.
UD Almería were informed of the incident from the beginning by the LaLiga match director and was very attentive to the performance of CD Eldense that was worthy of praise.
