UD Almería 'B' begin pre-season to prepare for Segunda RFEF tier debut
After the medicals, the 'B' team players are back to the grind under the guidance of gaffer Alberto Lasarte. Three new summer additions join the Academy players who achieved promotion last season
UD Almería 'B' have started the pre-season to prepare for five weeks their Segunda RFEF debut, a tier they reached after a brilliant promotion through some demanding play-offs at the end of June. Alberto Lasarte, after renewing his deal for two more seasons, continues to lead a squad whose members are the ones who managed to move up and also the ones who a year before, were Spanish Cup U19 runners-up. Peñalver, Ballestero, Paco Sanz, Alex Mendes, Josema, Joan, Luis Lara, Hugo Neves, Keven, Marsu, Cantón and Loren are the footballers from the previous campaign. Bruno Iribarne, Marcos Peña, Valen, René, Marezi and Rachad, who are currently training with the first teamers in Marbella's boot camp, are also 'B' team players next season. Edu Pla, after his loan spell at Polideportivo Almería, has rejoined the 'B' team's preparations, while UD Almería U19 'A' goalkeeper Juanmi and players Abarca, Torres, Ahmed and José Ismael have been promoted to the UD Almería second team.
Moreover, Svidersky and Rojas have also returned from loan. All of them have started the pre-season along with the three signings made so far: goalkeeper Jesús López (Elche Ilicitano CF), left-back Nacho Vila (UD Alzira) and midfielder Quintanilla (RCD Mallorca 'B').
There are 5 hectic weeks alternating training with friendly matches ahead of the UD Almería 'B' players.

-Polideportivo Almería. Saturday, 3rd August at 9pm at the Francisco Pomedio stadium in Huércal de Almería.
-CF Motril (Wednesday, 7th August/ KO 9pm) at the Escribano Castilla stadium.
-C. Atlético Pulpileño (Saturday, 10th August at 8pm at the Municipal de San Miguel.
- Águilas FC 'B' (Wednesday, 14th August at 7:30pm at the Blas Belmonte Alonso football pitch in the town of Carboneras
- Juventud de Torremolinos CF Sunday, 18th August, at 10:30am on the Anexo Power Horse Stadium pitch.
- Lorca Deportiva (Wednesday, 21st August, at 8:30pm at the Francisco Artés Carrasco.
- Recreativo de Granada (Saturday, 24th August at 10am at the Granda CF Sports Complex.
