Dion Lopy, Bruno Langa and César Montes earn international call-ups

The UD Almería players are preparing to face important matches with their national teams in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and preparation for the Copa América to be held in June

The international football scene intensifies with the arrival of summer where we will have qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, Copa América and Euro Cup and several UD Almería internacionals such as Dion Lopy, Bruno Langa and César Montes will be protagonists in their respective national teams.

Dion Lopy is preparing to join up with Senegal in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. The African team has two internationals fixtures; on 6th June against the Democratic Republic of the Congo and later on 9th June against Mauritania.

For his part, Bruno Langa will represent Mozambique, trying like Lopy to be in the 2026 World Cup. The Mozambican team will play against Somalia on 7th June and three days later on 10th June against Guinea.

Meanwhile, César Montes has been called up on the pre-list of 31 players selected by Mexico to work towards the 2024 Copa América, which will be held in the United States in just a month. The 'tricolor' has three friendlies scheduled against Bolivia, Uruguay and Brazil.

These matches will serve as preparation before the final list of 26 players is announced, where the Rojiblanco player is expected to be one of the final selections. In the Copa América, the national team will share a group with Ecuador, Jamaica and Venezuela. Likewise, we highlight the presence of Marc Pubill with the Catalan team to play two friendlies and that of Choco Lozano who will feature with Honduras.
