DAZN becomes main partner of UD Almería

The Club has signed a partnership agreement with the streaming platform for their men's and women's teams during the 2024/25 season

UD Almería and DAZN, the leading global sports entertainment platform, have today announced a partnership agreement, whereby the platform becomes a sponsor of the men's and women's teams for the current season. The agreement underscores the shared values between both parties such as passion, effort and the constant pursuit of excellence, as well as the drive for women's football growth. 
 
UD Almería CEO Mohamed El Assy highlighted the importance of this new partnership: 'UD Almería, a Club characterised by its fighting spirit and strong bond with its fans, has found in DAZN an ally that shares its vision for the future and its aspirations. We're delighted to count on DAZN's support in our project for the growth and development of the Club and Almería's society through sport.' 
 
For his part, DAZN group CEO Shay Segev said: 'We're excited to join forces with UD Almería, who shares our vision of excellence and dedication to enhancing the fan experience through constant innovation. We're looking forward to contributing to the success of both teams chaired by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, with whom we've been collaborating for some time in Saudi Arabia to increase access to sport and create a global fan community.'
 
The DAZN logo will be displayed on the jerseys of both teams, as well as in different advertising screens in the stadium and on the pitches. 
 
UD Almería rank second in terms of followers on social media among LaLiga Hypermotion clubs, in addition to having one of the most valuable squads in the second tier and being one of the great favourites this season to fight for promotion to the top flight.
