Five UD Almería players earn international duty calls again
Koné (Mali), Lopy (Senegal), Mendes and Marciano (Guinea Bissau) as well as César Montes (Mexico) will join up with their respective national teams in the second international break of this season
Second international break in LaLiga EA Sports this campaign with another bunch of UD Almería footballers travelling abroad. There are 5 squad members who will join up with their respective home countries soon to face friendly matches: Ibrahima Koné (Mali), Dion Lopy (Senegal), Houboulang Mendes and Marciano Sanca (Guinea Bissau) and César Montes (Mexico).
In addition, UD Almería 'B' striker Rachad Fettal has also been called up to Morocco U20, while Marc Pubill has been shortlisted for Spain U21, although the surgery that he has recently undergone will prevent him from being able to be part of the Spanish national youth team this time.
The 5 internationals have friendly matches on the horizon and those first team players will even play on 16-17 October in the week when the Spanish competition will have already started with UD Almería in action away from home against Girona FC at 4:15pm (Spanish Time) on Sunday, 22nd October.
The Mali squad with Koné named in the teamsheet, have two matches fixed on 13th October against Uganda and on 17th October against Arabia Saudi.
Lopy, called up to the Senegal squad, faces Cameroon on 17th October. Meanwhile Mendes and Marciano will take on Guinea Bissau, Togo and the Republic of Guinea, this last match on Tuesday, 17th October. Then, the Mexico national team (César Montes) lock horns with Ghana on 14th October, and three days later against the Germans (17th October).
In relation to the previous international break, Baba has not been contacted by Ghana this time, although he is on standby should any absence arises.
On a positive note, Kaiky and Lázaro will stay in Almería since they have not been called up to the Brazilian squad.
