César Montes transferred to FC Lokomotiv Moscow
The UD Almería centre-back ends his stage as a Rojiblanco after having played a total of 22 official matches
César Montes will no longer be a UD Almería player after his permanent transfer to FC Lokomotiv Moscow. The footballer and the Club have reached an agreement with the Russian club through which the Mexican's stage as a Rojiblanco comes to an end. He has played for UD Almería in a total of 22 matches.
The defender arrived at UD Almería in the final minutes of the deadline day of the 2023/24 summer transfer window, making his debut against Villarreal CF and thus opening the chapter to 21 more fixtures in said campaign. Already after the pre-season, with the start of the 2024/25 season, the centre-back started against Real Racing Club, this being his last participation with the team led by Rubi.
The defender was currently on international duty with his national team, later travelling to Russia to put pen to paper on the final conditions of the deal between the player and both clubs.
