Carlos Ballestero is the latest addition to UD Almería B
The right-back moves from Atlético de Madrid U19 A. The 19-year-old becomes the fourth signing to the B team squad
UD Almería 'B' continue to strengthen its squad for the coming 2023/24 season with the latest addition of Carlos Ballestero. The right-back becomes the fourth summer signing after the recruits of Luis Lara, Miguel Peñalver and Antonio Jesús.
The 19-year-old player joins the youthful Rojiblancos squad to reinforce the defence and lands in the Club after rising through the Atlético de Madrid Academy youth ranks. The Oviedo-born is fast and a versatile player who can also operate as a centre-back.
Alberto Lasarte's youth team continues to train hard this summer in order to get to the start of the campaign in the best form. The Academy Indálicos are immersed in a very demanding pre-season with matches against rivals of a higher tiers. They will kick off the season away from home against Atlético Malagueño on 10th September before hosting Polideportivo Almería on the 17th September.
