Back on grass at Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos
The UD Almeria players perform pre-activation exercises before attending two separate pre-season training sessions on Monday
The summer’s pre-season activity has just begun for UD Almería as they performed pre-activation exercises at the training base Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos before partaking two separate pre-season training sessions on Monday morning at 9 am and in the evening at 7 pm so as to kick off preparations ahead of the forthcoming 2021/22 campaign.
After getting the results of the PCR and medical tests, head coach Rubi and his coaching team had a talk with all the players before getting their feet moving and hearts pumping: ball and running-based exercises and some rondos. An intense summer’s pre-season action is going to last until 8th August since the Rojiblancos will have to step up preparations from 9th August ahead of the first LaLiga SmartBank fixture against FC Cartagena on Monday, 16th August.
The footballers underwent different PCR and medical tests last Friday and Saturday. Petrović and Iván Martos are back this Monday with the Club's permission. Almeria ‘B’ young players Javi Robles, Dani Albiar, Caballero and Aitor Puñal joined the UD Almeria first team as well as the three new signings of Juanjo Nieto, Arnau Puigmal and Curro Sánchez.
