UD Almería 'B' player Valen, who after promotion to the Segunda RFEF was called up by Rubi to participate in the first team training camp in Marbella, is living an unforgettable experience with the UD Almería professional team. He is 20 years old and is preparing to face his sixth season at the Club, which he joined in the under-16s team. 'I'm learning a lot; Here, we work at a different pace and at high intensity. Every day you face new challenges,' said the young winger who stressed that 'in this squad everyone has a fancy footwork and this season I'm sure we'll see good football.'
Valen is going to play with the UD Almería 'B' team in the Segunda RFEF. When asked about the differences that could exist between this tier and LaLiga Hypermotion, he responded: 'Although on a physical level they are giving us a lot of effort in all divisions, this aspect could be more balanced. Where there are differences is in the game awareness and the speed given to the ball.'
When talking about Rubi he stated: 'He's very demanding with the ball and makes you improve a lot. Also, he talks a lot with the player.'
Ramazani is his role model 'because of his dribbling and for being so electric and fast in his actions.' Regarding Suárez he said: 'He's very demanding on the pitch, but then off it he gives you a lot of encouragement and support.'
Valen is happy with the minutes he is getting in the first team, he is convinced that he will grow a lot as a player this season and truly hopes to have more opportunities with the first team. When talking about the Segunda RFEF, he indicated: 'It'll be a play-off like the one we played to get promoted, but it will continue throughout the season.'
