4-1: UD Almería Women wrap up season with comprehensive victory
The Rojiblancas found themselves on the losing side, but managed to come back from behind in style to end the campaign with another impressive victory rivals over Villaviciosa de Odón
UD Almería Women wrapped up the 2023/24 season with a comprehensive victory over Villaviciosa de Odón in a match that they started losing shortly after the second half began, but which they managed to turn around in a wonderful way to leave the last three points at home.
The first half of the match was dominated by the Rojiblancas who kept possession of the ball for quite some time, but without delving into dangerous situations. The most notable play of this opening half was a shot from a wide position by Jessi that was about to go in, however, from this chance, in the 7th minute there was no more danger. In the 17th minute the Indálicas would have to make a change due to injury, Conchita left the pitch, Lucía coming in in her place.
In the second half, the scoreboard did change and in what way! Five goals were scored in the second forty-five minutes. The visiting side slotted themselves in front, as soon as it began, with Cristina's opener. However, the UDA girls reacted quickly and in the 54th minute Moreno tied the match after taking advantage of a rebound inside the box. In the 60th minute the second grabbed by the Almeria players arrived, Moreno put them ahead.
Despite already being ahead, UD Almería Women did not slow down and just four minutes later the 3-1 score came from Paqui, after a great solo play. There would still be one more goal to come, Electry slammed it in 73 minutes in. UD Almería Women thus managed to end the season with victory and leaving the last three points of the season at home.
