27-man UD Almería travelling squad set out for Marbella

The Rojiblancos start the summer training camp to carry on with their pre-season preparations. Málaga CF, Al-Sadd SC and Algeciras CF will be opponents during the boot camp in to be held in Málaga

A 27-man UD Almería travelling squad have set out for Marbella as The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa located in Marbella will host them until next 1st August. The pre-season preparation period goes on after two weeks of intense training sessions delivered at the Anexo Power Horse Stadium. 

The Indálicos will now spend 10 days together in an ideal place that will allow new signings to blend into the squad while giving youngsters an opportunity to showcase their talent. With its serene atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities, La Quinta promotes total concentration as the Rojiblancos prepare for success.

In addition, there will be three more friendlies to be played. After facing Granada CF and SL Benfica last weekend, the next off-season adversaries in Marbella will be Málaga CF, on Saturday, 27th July; Qatari side Al-Sadd SC on Sunday, 28th July and Algeciras CF on Thursday, 1st August. 

The presence of César Montes in the squad has been this Tuesday's highlight, after having longer holidays due to his participation in the Copa América. 

UD Almería travelling squad: 

Goalkeepers: Fernando, Maximiano and Bruno Iribarne (UD Almería 'B'). 

Defenders: Pozo, Kaiky, Chumi, Radovanović, César Montes, René (UD Almería 'B'), Centelles and Bruno Langa.

Midfielders: Lopy, Baba, Edgar, Robertone, Marcos Peña (UD Almería 'B'), Gui Guedes, Melero, Arnau, Ramazani, Arribas, Léo Baptistão, Nico Melamed and Valen (UD Almería 'B'). 

Forwards: Luis Suárez, Koné and Marezi. 

UD Almería began training in Marbella this Tuesday and will return home on Thursday, 1st August after playing in the morning against Algeciras CF. Friday will be a day off for the squad, while Saturday will se them having a double session at the training base. On Sunday, the Indálicos will play a new match against FC Cartagena.
