1-3: UD Almería 'B' make their presence felt in league

The UDA prospects, with many turnovers and playing on artificial grass, ease past co-leaders CD Minera, achieve their third victory on the bounce, remain undefeated as visitors and rise to second place, just one point behind the top place

UD Almería 'B' have finally made their presence felt in the Segunda RFEF league as they are definitely at the top of their game now by shocking experienced rivals. They priced their might on Matchday 10 after easing past CD Minera, who were second placed, away from home, and also emphatically not only because of the result (1-3) but also because of the performance put in.

The UDA prospects had to pull their socks up from start to finish. Everything seemed to be against the young Almeriensistas. The week had been rather different due to the many players who were training along with the first team and who were even called up by Rubi. The match was played on artificial grass, a handicap for UD Almería 'B' and on top of that, it rained a lot, making it difficult to operate on that type of soil.

But the 'B' team lads, despite their young age, showed great maturity. They already know how to start the games with confidence and against CD Minera, they were able to take the game back on track. With effectiveness and excellent work, UD Almería 'B' began to keep their rivals at bay and create dangerous situations. In the 35th minute, René Pérez put the score at 0-1 leading to half-time.

The team led by Alberto Lasarte knew how to play their tricks in the second half and as a result of this they put themselves in the middle with two goals in the 59th and 65th minutes grabbed by Yago Paredes and Alex Mendes, who continues to find the back of the net. Although the Murcia-based side got a consolation goal, the youthful Rojiblancos maintained their advantage and achieved their third victory on the bounce, which also keeps them undefeated as visitors and lifts them to second place in the standings, just one point behind current leaders UCAM Murcia.
