1-2: UD Almería 'B' beat Atlético Malagueño to advance to the next play-offs round

The UDA Academy Rojiblancos managed to defeat the Blanquiazul team after coming back from behind in the second half and surpassed the tie with an aggregate score of 2-5

UD Almería 'B' advance to the next round of the play-off for promotion to Segunda RFEF after beating Atlético Malagueño 1-2. The Rojiblancos started trailing, but in a outstanding second half, they managed to turn the score around with goals from Cantón and Marsu. The Almeria team came out with clear ideas, they knew what they had to do to be able to keep up the momentum that Atlético Malagueño were logically going to display to seek the early opener that would bring them closer in the tie.

Alberto Lasarte and his players had a good plan rehearsed throughout the week, however, in the 6th minute all that would fall apart, since Rafa, after a messy play inside the box, managed to beat bruno with a right volley.

The team went out onto the pitch with a lot of nerves and the lsds from Malaga took advantage of this. About half an hour into the match, the Indálicos began to get rid of those nerves and began to reach the hosts' goal more. In fact, Cantón had a chance to make it 1-1, but his shot, from the edge of the area, was going off course.

UD Almería 'B' continued to press and look for the goal and Marezi, after a great run down the left wing, reached the visitirs' goal, and after dribbling past a defender, looked for the goal with a low shot, but the goalkeeper managed to deny him.

Shortly after, it was Peñalver who tried his luck with a good chance from inside the area, but without luck. They were good minutes for the Rojiblancos who had one more opportunity a minute before the break with a header from Marezi, however, these chances were squandered and the result, at the end of the first half was 1-0; an aggregate score of 2-3 with the Rojiblancos ahead.

The start of the second half for the Almerienses was the complete opposite of the first half. They whipped in many scoring chances, moved the ball well and managed to stop Atlético Malagueño's momentum. As a result of this good teamwork, the more than deserved tie would come for the Indálicos. In the 67th minute, Hugo Neves made a great individual play and later delivered the ball to Cantón who ended up finishing inside the area and into the back of the net.

The visitors thus managed to level it up 1-1 in the match and 2-4 aggregate score in the tie. This goal by Alberto Lasarte's boys made Atlético Malagueño break and begin to leave gaps behind, gaps that UD Almería 'B' took advantage of to create several dangerous plays, until in the 90+4' minute, Marsu put the final 1-2, closing thus the knockout round and sealing the place in the next round with an aggregate score of 2-5.
